Overview

Start the trip with a visit to the Puffing Billy Steam Train, Australia's oldest steam railway. The station is designed like a small British rural station. The train moves through a forest park and goes through the green Dandenong Ranges, passing by fern gullies and tall mountain ash trees.

Head to the Yarra Valley Orchard that's operated for 80 years and is still 100% Australian-owned. The owner grows some of the best cherries in Australia. Pick fresh cherries from the tree and taste them right there.
