No cages here – just you and the sharks, nose-to-nose in the waters of SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium.

This incredible Shark Dive Xtreme experience grants you a unique opportunity to swim with multiple species of shark and giant stingrays too. Your SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium shark dive ticket also sees you go behind the scenes to get an understanding of what it's like working with these toothy characters, before you take the plunge into their underwater world.

Once your adventure is over, you can explore the rest of SEA LIFE Melbourne. It's a multicoloured marine menagerie, home to crocodiles, penguins, sea stars, and loads more fascinating sea creatures.

What's Included

90-minute introduction to scuba diving, briefing and training session

30-minute dive time with the creatures of the deep

All dive equipment & wetsuits

All day admission to SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

Instructions

  • Show your smartphone ticket at the entrance
  • 10:00am & 11:00am session will have an 8:45am check-in for a 9:00am brief
  • 2:30pm & 3:30pm sessions will have a 1:15pm check-in for a 1:30pm brief
  • You can visit the aquarium after the dive experience

Additional Info

For divers under 18, parental consent and attendance at the briefing is required

You must wait 12 hours after diving before flying

You must not have drugs or alcohol in your system

DO NOT drink alcohol the night before your dive

DO NOT fly in an aircraft within 12 hours after you dive

You MUST have a reasonable degree of swimming ability

If you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or legal guardian attend check-in and the safety briefing (they do not need to complete the dive)

If you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, please do not book

Minimum age: 14 years

It is important that you are in good health

You must be able to lift and walk with approximately 35 kg
